El Cavino del Eclipse will take us on part of the Camino del Norte, a spectacular hiking route along Spain\u2019s Cantabrian Coast.
We\u2019ll enjoy awesome views of the Cantabrian Sea on our right and the stunning mountain ranges of northern Spain on our left, as we discover the wealth of culture in Spain\u2019s coastal regions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The format of El Cavino del Eclipse is similar to the other El Cavino trips: morning hikes through spectacular scenery, top-rate hotels, winery tours, fantastic lunches, great wining and dining, and stunning experiences travelling through the north of Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this trip includes something unique:
On Wednesday 12 August 2026, we\u2019ll experience a magical moment as we observe the solar ECLIPSE from one of the best places in Cantabria.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this day of El Cavino del Eclipse, against a backdrop of nature, vineyards and the sea, the sky will briefly go dark, treating us to an unforgettable cosmic show. In this magnificent setting, the experience will connect our pilgrim souls with the universe in a harmonious fusion of light and wine. We\u2019ll take a moment to raise a glass and see the sky like never before.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE<\/p>You\u2019ll need to be in good shape for the steep ascents and descents on this walk. You can see the profile in the WALKS section, but the guide will explain the difficulties of each walk as we go.

Don\u2019t worry if you\u2019re not feeling fit enough for some of the walks: everything\u2019s organised so you can enjoy the trip just as much by travelling on the El Cavino bus. <\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
